| I visited the church in 1996 while a college student researching the 1793 yellow fever epidemic. Although located away from the typical tourist spots, the visit was worth the walk. I’m so glad to see the church and museum now has a website. Richard Allen was a truly amazing American. |

| On August 12th I along with my parents had the pleasure of visiting the Mother Bethel AME Church and museum. I must say that we were all impressed and surprised with the beauty of the church and the quality and depth of the museum. I was very pleased in my decision to visit the church. Our docent, Sharon Speights, was very knowledgable & personable. Our trip to Mother Bethel was one of the true highlights of our vacation in Philadelphia. Thanks for your hospitality and keep up the excellant work. Mother Bethel is a true American & African American treasure. May God continue to bless this church. |

| Recently I visited Mother Bethel with a Church History class from Palmer Theological Seminary. Mother Bethel should be commended on the care it has taken with the artifacts and memorablia of the AME Church. The tour guide gave a wonderful and engaging presentation of the history of this great denomination. Being an AME, I beamed with pride as my fellow classmates learned more about the AME Church. |
