It is our honor to serve as the Planning Committee for the 2010 Ministers Retreat, which will be held from September 14th - 17th 2010. Our committee has met several times to plan out the retreat for this Conference Year. We hope that this will truly be a time of restoration and renewal for you so that you might be empowered to do the work of God in your ministry setting. In consultation with Bishop Norris, we believe that we have selected 2 of the best presenters/preachers in the nation. Rev. Drs. Grainger and JoAnn Browning come to us with a proven track record of success in ministry and working with fellow clergy. 

As was done on last year, we have programed in some serious down time so that in addition to being renewed in worship and workshops, we might also relax and become refreshed. We have scheduled time in the agenda for group recreational activities so that we can take advantage of the Cape Cod experience. Please take time to hang out with other colleagues and play golf, go horseback riding, go shopping, take a walk along the ocean or the bay, go bike riding, or just sit and talk. 

It is our hope that this retreat will address mind, body, and spirit. To that end, we ask that you come prepared to retreat by clearing your calendar, delegating what you can to others, and giving yourself the time to spiritually reflect and heal.
